Time for a drive-by

If you're a Columbia local, you should make a point of driving down Hitt St. to appreciate the progress being made on the future home of Ragtag/Uprise/9th St. Video. I had the chance to peek inside the other day and it is truly taking shape. After all this time, it's actually happening - and it looks to be fantastic. (I'll post some pictures soon, if I can.) A T/F 2008 venue? Ask the Magic 8 Ball. (It told me "Yes.")

Speaking of Uprise, did you hear about the show there on Nov. 6th? The Evens - Amy Farina (The Warmers) and Ian MacKaye (Fugazi) - will be playing a show at the bakery. Be there at 8 pm, people.
